Sisters in 1968

Can you believe these hairdos?!! I've been trying to convert all my moms slides to photos and saving them on disc, it's been a long and tedious chore! When I came across this pic, I just had to scrap it! I'm sure they were "the Bees Knees" back then! I shouldn't laugh, I've had some pretty bad hairdos myself! Can you say 80's big hair! I used sketch #118 from Creative Scrappers for this.

August 30th Already?!

Oh my Gosh! is it really Aug 30th? I can't believe the kids will be in school next Tuesday! I have to admit I am a little excited for them to go back, I'd like to clean the house and have it stay that way, if only for a couple hours! Since it's Aug 30th, that means it's reveal day at Sketchabilities! This is a picture of my DS that my mom took. He has always been my snuggler, and willl still snuggle with occasionally, even at 15!

Check it Out!

Hey! Check this out! This is the layout I did for the NEW sketch at Let's Scrap! The pictures are of my friend Sandy and her kids and me and my family at the Air and Space museum in Washington D.C. Sandy's son and my youngest hijacked our cameras and snapped about 200 pictures between the two of them, this layout showcases just a few of them!

Be You

I have some exciting news about another Design Team I am on, but I can't tell you yet! I have to wait until the new team is revealed Labor Day weekend! I'm pretty excited about it though! Here is the layout that won me a spot on the team.  It's a picture of my friend Sandy's daughter Shae (just love that girl!)

I made a card!

Oh my! I actually made a card! I never make cards! It's just not my thing! But Lets Scrap does a card sketch the third week of each month, and being on the Design Team I'm kinda supposed to make one. Time Flies! Reveal Day at Sketchabilities!

Wow this week got away from me! Hubby was gone all week (for work) so I guess I lost track of time! I was going to get a sneak peek up for Sketchabilities, but today is reveal day so instead I will just post my page! I've been (slowly but surely) putting all my moms old slides onto my computer so I can print them and scrap them. I absolutely love this picture of my sister from 1974, she's soooo groovy!  Is this summer going by way too fast or what? I can't believe school starts in 3 weeks! I'm happy to have a clean house again and some time to myself, but sure am going to miss my boys! Here is my take on the fabulous sketch over at Let's Scrap Run over there and play along! Join in the challenges too, they are really fun! The picture is of my friend and her daughter when they came from Utah to visit me! They are two of the silliest people I know! Loved having them here!

Oh The Places You Will Go!

Another one of P.J.'s graduation pictures! Still having a hard time believing he has graduated already! I really hate that they have to grow up. I used a sketch from Sketchy Thursdays and Studio Calico paper and fabric rips.
