Glitter, Glitter and more Glitter!

Twisted Sketches is bringing on the GLITTER!  Another amazing sketch from Anam this week and the twist is.....yep you guessed it GLITTER! I scrapped another vintage photo of my mom and dad. This one isn't quite as vintage as the others, only from the 80's!

I glittered the edges of each of the "frames" with some Martha glitter, then I used some German glass glitter on the MME diecut frame. The Thickers I had weren't the right color, so I painted them, then just for good measure dumped some prisma glitter on them while the paint was still wet! All the papers are MME and Crate! Thanks for checking out my page, now head over to TWISTED SKETCHES and play along!

Twisted Sketches

Need some inspiration? There is a new sketch up at Twisted Sketches! The twist this week is "Frame". Check out the BLOG for the sketch and see everyone's interpretation. My layout is of both sets of my Grandparents. Unfortunately I never met my dad's parents, they both died before I was born. But my mom's parents were around a lot and I miss them both very much! I used some frames from Recolections and made another "frame" by sewing a rectangle, there is also a "frame" around the word Grandparents on the butterfly card. The post card (with the bird and butterflies on it) and the pretty white flowers are from a kit from Little Red Scrapbook.
