Welcome to SCRAPBOOK CHALLENGES BLOG HOP! Remember that little bit of exciting news I mentioned a few days ago?! Well, this is it! I was selected to be on the Design Team for Scrapbook Challenges! We are introducing the new DT and saying goodbye to those reitring DT members with a BLOG HOP! If you are new to blog hops, here is how they work: You start at Pamelas blog (I'll give you a link to her blog), you comment on her blog, then HOP to the next blog that she will give you a link to and so on! Treasured Scrapbooking

I advanced to the next week in the Treasured Scrapbooking contest!! YIPPEE! The challenge this week is going to be tough!  I have to use the title of a book at my page title, use the phrase "the things I've learned" in my journalling, use lined paper, use something school/learning related and at least 3 layers of paper somewhere! hmmmm, I'll have to put my thinking cap on for this! Send me good vibes, I'd really like to advance again next week!

Can you believe these hairdos?!! I've been trying to convert all my moms slides to photos and saving them on disc, it's been a long and tedious chore! When I came across this pic, I just had to scrap it! I'm sure they were "the Bees Knees" back then! I shouldn't laugh, I've had some pretty bad hairdos myself! Can you say 80's big hair! I used sketch #118 from Creative Scrappers for this.

August 30th Already?!

Oh my Gosh! is it really Aug 30th? I can't believe the kids will be in school next Tuesday! I have to admit I am a little excited for them to go back, I'd like to clean the house and have it stay that way, if only for a couple hours! Since it's Aug 30th, that means it's reveal day at Sketchabilities! This is a picture of my DS that my mom took. He has always been my snuggler, and willl still snuggle with occasionally, even at 15!

Check it Out!

Hey! Check this out! This is the layout I did for the NEW sketch at Let's Scrap! The pictures are of my friend Sandy and her kids and me and my family at the Air and Space museum in Washington D.C. Sandy's son and my youngest hijacked our cameras and snapped about 200 pictures between the two of them, this layout showcases just a few of them!
