Grateful 6,7,8,&9

6. Good friends/neighbors and bonfires! Had such a laugh with our neighbors around the bonfire on Saturday, haven't laughed that hard in I don't remember when!
7. Health. I am very fortunate in that department. I have always been healthy, no major problems and I rarely get colds. My sister was sick when she got here and my mom caught it soon after, but so far (knock on wood) Im OK!
8. My husbands job. With the economyh the way it is, I thank God regularly for his job. Not only that he has one, but it's a good job and he enjoys it!
9. Meals on Wheels. I deliver for Meals on Wheels 2 or 3 times a month and every time I go, I am so blessed by the people I deliver to. They are so sweet and appreciative! I love talking to them all and hearing all their stories.
I thought it was going to be a little difficult to come up with something EVERY day. Silly me! I guess I didn't realize how awesome my life is when I really look at it. Every single day there is SOMETHING to be grateful for!

  1. It's wonderful that you volunteer for Meals on Wheels. My husband's Uncle received that service for a while and it was a life saver. He lived in NYC and we were in Georgia and he just wouldn't cook for himself. So we were able to set up the Meals program for him. He not only enjoyed the meals but welcome the interaction as he really couldn't leave his apartment.
